Had a smaller 8,000 that ran all day and night long set at 75. This 12,000 cools half the time and turns on/off. The app function on your phone makes super easy to control while away. I sed pool noodle to fill in the gap since the olde run it was bigger. I used 1x4 cedar to trim it in after, didn't take pictures of the finished product.

Bought a smaller unit then what I wanted by accident because I read my old one wrong. Now this one is mathematically correct but where I put it I like oversized because of poor insulation. However this unit is keeping up even with the Texas temperatures this year at least it is so far.

What an amazing Air Conditioner Unit , I was in the market for a new AC for my room and was able to purchase this one. The price was incredibly fair especially with all the features. The remote app and wifi connection makes it so incredibly easy to operate the device while not home. Install was incredibly easy. Gave all the needed install materials to properly place in my window. The unit its self works flawlessly, cooling a medium size bedroom , mind you that has no real insulation because of the year the home was built and being on a second floor this unit keeps everything nice and cold. I would highly recommend this unit.

Best money I've spent this year. My vacation home had a brand new heat pump when I bought it two years ago, but it cannot keep up with the southeast U.S. heat and humidity. My Frigidaire window unit works so well, it keeps our entire living area comfortable! It is quiet, and best of all, wifi enabled, so I can turn it on from my primary home, and it's cool and comfy when we arrive a few hours later! This unit works far better than our heat pump! (Which has been rechecked repeatedly under warranty, and is disappointing at best.) Don't hesitate to buy this unit. It was easy to install, and could not be a better value.

it cools our home. We have it in our bedroom to help our central air (FL. heat is horrible this year). The wifi connect is great too we can raise the temp when we go out and lower the temp on our way home so it is comfortable when we get home. Frigidaire A/Cs with the eco settings have been our best investment.

It's the noisiest, loudest AC I've ever bought. Not so much the motor, but the fan. Even on LOW, the fan is unnecessarily very strong and LOUD! It's annoying and disturbing. It blows hard, and if you are nearby it becomes very uncomfortable, creating frigid spots. Does not cool as a real 12000 BTU should. The ECO mode is bad because the AC doesn't stop and start when it should, I guess it can't read the room temp well. Do not recommend.

Thanks for gut instincts or intuition but this A/C is Great!I'm using it for three rooms and Very Happy with it. It's not the quietest because of the amount of airflow this unit pushes but it has to. Really Impressed. Wished I could've bought two! Definitely recommend the outdoor install hardware kit, mine did not come it. Definitely recommend though.

This is a great window AC ! It does the job and keeps it very cool which is the main feature of this appliance. Very well built and does the job perfectly for my 900 sq foot area. I like that I can turn it on from work if it becomes hot using the app. One downside is that the display goes to sleep, you have to push the button twice this can be very annoying. Once to wake it then another to select your changes. Using the app this can be avoided. But it seems like a major flaw - it may have been to save power by turning the display off but it™€™s an AC you expect it to use power. Overall a great AC to keep a large space cool. Just that one little annoyance that I can overlook since it does such a great job even in 100F weather.

Easy Installation/Cools Quickly/App Needs Some Work

I bought this air conditioner to cool the ground floor of my two-level home (ground floor is about 500 sqft). I have it installed near the stairway, so a good bit of air is pushed upstairs as well, keeping most of my house cool. I run it on eco mode and it does just fine, and keeps humidity in check, too. Installation was easy (but a two-person job). It's a bit loud, but as it does not run constantly, this is not a huge issue. The app is a great idea, but there are some issues: the older version of the app (referenced in the instructions that came with the unit) had a great scheduling feature, but keeps losing the connection, making it essentially worthless. The new app (I was directed to the new app from within the old app) keeps the connection, but there is no scheduling feature - you can only turn the A/C on or off (at least, I cannot find any scheduling feature on the app). The scheduler is a great idea, so I don't have to keep checking the air temp at home to ensure my fur babies are comfortable whilst I'm away. Could there please be a "new new" app that combines the steady connection with a scheduling feature? Overall, satisfied with the job it's doing - it would be great just to have some app tweaks.

Acts possessed if attached to app control- must reset your temp every single time - my 10 yr old air conditioner will hold a setting?!?!

If I have this attached to their app as requested in all the books etc. it acts possessed, turns on and off on its own. Just repeatedly turning on and off maybe 10 times in 30 minutes. It also doesn™€™t ™€œsave™€ any of your setting you must manually turn it to cool then the fan setting then the temperature setting. EVERY single time you use it. Honestly the cheapest silliest little thing I™€™ve seen in along time. Do not buy do not wast your money.
